My name is Emilia Aguilar, and I am a first-generation Mexican-American with fluency in Spanish. I hold a Master's in Psychology from Pepperdine University and have been actively engaged in the mental health field for the past eight years.  I also attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and am currently working as a Psychological Associate.

My professional experience encompasses working with diverse populations across various settings, including schools, private clinics, and psychiatric hospitals. I have assisted individuals experiencing homelessness and provided support on the 988 suicide crisis line. My extensive experience is providing support to children of different age groups regarding school and social issues, bullying, various mental health disorders, and developmental disabilities.

As a first-time mother to a one-year-old boy, I am deeply passionate about meeting individuals at their unique stage in their therapeutic journey and offering comprehensive support. While I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, my approach is primarily goal-oriented and client-centered. My passion has always been helping children and adults find greater happiness on their life journey.
