I am the son and grandson of fire fighters. I even tried my hand at volunteer fire fighting once. A Texas native, I left home for a life less ordinary. Intended to be a stepping-stone to a future in law enforcement, this new chapter turned into 20-years in the United States Marine Corps. A career intelligence professional, I have served across the range of military operations including special operations, aviation, training & education, and humanitarian assistance to name a few. I deployed multiple times in support of OEF/OIF.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, I am pursuing my license as a Clinical Social Worker. I am still committed to serving those who lead less than ordinary lives with compassionate care and healing. My clinical experience is working directly with active-duty military diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders (SUD). I understand the challenges that extraordinary careers demand of ourselves and our families. I know how hard it is to find your voice and to ask for help sometimes.
